Burdock – root herb.  High in iron, cleansing the lymph and liver through stimulation of the digestive juices and bile secretion.  May be applied externally as a poultice. 

Helps with:

  • kidney ailments

  • eczema and psoriasis

  • anorexia nervosa and cystitis

 

Dark Leafy Greens – enriches the body with chlorophyll, iron, calcium, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and fiber.

Helps with cleansing the intestines.

 

Golden Beets – contains betacyanin, anti-tumor, Vitamin B, folate, and iron.

Helps with:

  • preventing cancer and birth defects

  • cleansing digestion

  • stimulating urine secretion

  • opening the liver and spleen

  • headaches

 

Avocado – contains 25 essential nutrients; Vitamins A, B, C, CE, and K; copper; potassium; phosphorous, magnesium.  It is a source of high, healthy fat and protein.

Helps with:

  • lowering cholesterol

  • controlling blood pressure

  • protects against macular degeneration

  • regulating blood sugar levels

 

Onion – an antiseptic and diuretic

Cucumber – contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, sulfur, manganese, phosphorous, silicon, sodium, calcium, and potassium.  Cooling to internal and external inflamed areas.

Parsley – very high in Vitamin C.  Poultice for bee stings.

Lentils – poor man’s protein.  Low in fat.
